Okay, before I talk about PORT CHUCK, I have 2 rules & 1 favour:

1. NO CALLING ANYONE NASTY NAMES (fictional characters included!)

2. I'm a Liason Fan, You're a Jasam Fan, or whatever/whomever, we AGREE to DISAGREE

The favour is: I'd love for you to send me stories, videos, pictures, etc. that I can post as a BLOG, credited to the submitter, of course! The title of the Blog would be YOUR name :) I live in BC and may only get to see them MAYBE in 2012, so I live vicariously thru all of you!ThanksNow for the good stuff ;) I'm listening to PORT CHUCK as I write this, I'll just call it inspiration, but the truth is I can't stop. I've been wondering why, then suddenly it hit me last night while I watched DWTS (had to see Kirstie Alley & Maks) and the Go-Go's played "We Got The Beat"...PORT CHUCK reminds me of a time in my life that may not have been the happiest, but it WAS the most like ME. My worries were ones that 20 yr olds worry about: zits, boys, and what was happening on GH...not the craziness that takes over when you grow up. Not only do they play songs that we ALL know, but the songs tell stories from our own lives, while being told in at least 2 voices I know I'd recognize anywhere! How could I not? I've been watching Steve Burton as Jason since I was young enough to still believe in "Happily Ever-After" and he was still Jason Q. The same goes with Scott Reeves, whom I remember in "I Know My Name Is Steven", then as Ryan on Y&R. While I admit I'm still getting to "know" Brandon Barash & Bradford Anderson, I'm truly loving their voices. The harmonies of all of them is like sitting down and watching a bunch of friends jam together. Which the bonus track helps achieve, lol....what a hilarious thing to listen to 'D I can't wait to see what else they bring to us, and I hope it won't be too long <3Now my question for those of you who have read this: Why do YOU love PORT CHUCK??
Labels: Brandford Anderson, Brandon Barash, PORT CHUCK, Scott Reeves, Steve Burton

  1. Why do I love Port Chuck? Where do I begin? I am a long time, loyal GH Fan. I was so excited when I first heard about Port Chuck. I have had the pleasure of meeting them and seeing them perform several times. I will see them again in July and August. They are all talented actors and musicians and of course good looking guys as well. They truly love and appreciate their fans. They make me laugh and smile and just make me happy. I have had the privilege of getting to know them as people and they are all truly amazing. They are all very genuine and sincere and just really nice guys. When Port Chuck started, I asked for permission to start a Port Chuck Page on Facebook and they said yes. The guys have been very supportive and the fans have been great. I really enjoy doing the page for the guys and their fans. If you have not seen Port Chuck yet, I hope you get the chance soon. You will not be disappointed. Thanks Brandon, Bradford, Steve and Scott! Love you guys!!:)

  2. I have been a fan of GH ever since I was 13 years old. Running home after school just in time to get home and watch General Hospital with my now deceased mother. Ok I will date myself here. Been a fan for 32 yrs now.. She turned me into a GH junkie! I carry on this tradition today with my own daughter. Through my love of GH, I have come to love and of course hate so many characters. But my current favorites are that of the 4 men that took the show on the road and made a band out of themselves. A band whom I've totally grown to love! I can actually call them my drug of choice as I am addicted and simply can
not get enough of them. These four men are of course Scott Reeves Aka Steven Webber. I've been a fan of Scott's since he played the role of Ryan McNeil on
Y&R. Also a member & from what I understand is the band's founder, Steve
Burton. Whom I've loved since his GH debut as Jason Quartermaine now
Morgan. Then we have the ever so cute Brandon Barash, who plays our favorite
mobster Johnny Zacchara. And the funnest, cutest and happiest cyber geek,
Spinelli! I've only come to learn of Port Chuck recently and was immediately
blown away over what I'd heard come out of the pipes of these four handsome
men!! Not only do they look good, these boys can sing too! I saw Port Chuck for
the first time just this past April and I am happy and proud to say only one
month later. I already have my ticket to see them again in August! These guys
are truly phenomenal live and I can assure you are the best, friendliest, sweetest
and nicest guys that a fan could EVER meet and I am so honored to have had
that opportunity last month and ecstatic that I will be meting and hanging out
with them again this summer! If you have any doubts seeing these guys. Please
don't! They are so worth your time. Take a listen to their CD and I guarantee you, you will immediately be a fan and if you ever get the opportunity to see them live... DO IT!!!! You. Will not be disappointed!

And if you are anything like me. And have a love of 80s music. Then you will love them even more! :)
