Okay, before I talk about PORT CHUCK, I have 2 rules & 1 favour:
1. NO CALLING ANYONE NASTY NAMES (fictional characters included!)
2. I'm a Liason Fan, You're a Jasam Fan, or whatever/whomever, we AGREE to DISAGREE
The favour is: I'd love for you to send me stories, videos, pictures, etc. that I can post as a BLOG, credited to the submitter, of course! The title of the Blog would be YOUR name :) I live in BC and may only get to see them MAYBE in 2012, so I live vicariously thru all of you!ThanksNow for the good stuff ;) I'm listening to PORT CHUCK as I write this, I'll just call it inspiration, but the truth is I can't stop. I've been wondering why, then suddenly it hit me last night while I watched DWTS (had to see Kirstie Alley & Maks) and the Go-Go's played "We Got The Beat"...PORT CHUCK reminds me of a time in my life that may not have been the happiest, but it WAS the most like ME. My worries were ones that 20 yr olds worry about: zits, boys, and what was happening on GH...not the craziness that takes over when you grow up. Not only do they play songs that we ALL know, but the songs tell stories from our own lives, while being told in at least 2 voices I know I'd recognize anywhere! How could I not? I've been watching Steve Burton as Jason since I was young enough to still believe in "Happily Ever-After" and he was still Jason Q. The same goes with Scott Reeves, whom I remember in "I Know My Name Is Steven", then as Ryan on Y&R. While I admit I'm still getting to "know" Brandon Barash & Bradford Anderson, I'm truly loving their voices. The harmonies of all of them is like sitting down and watching a bunch of friends jam together. Which the bonus track helps achieve, lol....what a hilarious thing to listen to 'D I can't wait to see what else they bring to us, and I hope it won't be too long <3Now my question for those of you who have read this: Why do YOU love PORT CHUCK??
